Week 28.2
This one is a couple of days late. Couple is 2 right? Anyways, went to the gym more this week. My back was starting feel better, and I'm almost back to where I was for bench pressing. My squats and dead lifts are no where near close though.
Work was a little hectic I guess. There was some urgent security thing that needed to be merged by Wednesday, but the team took longer than expected to review and approve it. It ended up being merged on Monday, but we're fast forwarding it through the pipeline so it'll make the deadlines. Also I'm getting a lot more work to do (most of the work is understanding legacy code) but that's fair I guess.
The extra long weekend wasn't as nice as I'd like it to be. I ended up staying up till the late degen hours, and then getting out of bed at like 6pm. Definitely made me feel like I didn't actually have any free time. Also, I had a terrible nightmare that I left Amazon for a government contracting job for less than half the salary. It was the most stressful thing I've ever experienced. Stuck making power points and editing static html files. And then the contract expired a very soon after I started, and I was freaking out trying to get back into Amazon. Felt real bad.
Hopefully I can get my work done this week, I'm making pretty good progress on my tasks. (75%, 75%, 0%).
